Researchers from INTRIG participated in the 11th IEEE International Conference on Network Softwarization (NetSoft 2025), held from June 23 to 27 in Budapest, Hungary. With the theme “Sustainable and secure networks for distributed AI and compute,” the conference is one of the most prominent in the world in the field of network softwarization and brought together researchers from various countries to engage in discussions on this critical topic.

SMARTNESS’s participation was driven primarily by research contributions from early-career researchers, including PhD and master’s students affiliated with the center. These studies, developed in collaboration with academic advisors and institutional partners, highlight the active engagement of young scholars in cutting-edge technical debates. These contributions were presented across multiple sessions of the conference, covering both theoretical foundations and hands-on implementations.
