On February 22, the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (FEEC/UNICAMP) received the visit of new students and general public at the annual event “Encontro FEEC”, an event that shows the community the current research topics in which professors and graduate students are involved.
During the visit to the Laboratory of Computer Science and Automation (LCA), researchers from SMARTNESS had the opportunity to show their current research status and discussed possible collaborations with the new incoming students. The INTRIG research group, led by Professor Christian Rothenberg, had the participation of Ph.D. students Mauricio Rodriguez, Alan Teixeira and Md Tariqul Islam. The students presented topics related to drone route planning and volumetric media, showing applications and services for future 5G networks and evolution towards 6G.
