Another year, another INTRIG participation at Simpósio Brasileiro de Redes de Computadores e Sistemas Distribuídos (SBRC) at the 43rd edition edition held at Wish Resort, Natal, Brazil, 2025. The SBRC symposium is an annual event held by the Brazilian Computing Society (SBC) and the Computer Networks Laboratory (LARC).
The research group participation took place through VR and Drones demonstrations at the SMARTNESS booth -, two Main Track Paper and a Demonstration Poster (Salão de Ferramentas).
Ph.D. student Alan Teixeira presented the work “Ambiente Programável para Transmissão e Análise de Qualidade de Experiência de Vídeo Volumétrico“.
MSc. Rodigo Pierini presented the work “Implementação e avaliação da cifra de fluxo Xote em plano de dados de hardware programavel Tofino“.
In the Demo Session, the project “UNetyEmu: Unity-based simulator for aerial and non-aerial vehicles with integrated network emulation” was presented by Mauricio Rodriguez Cesen, Ariel Góes de Castro, Ibini Anuar Santana Santana, Ramon Fontes, Fabricio Rodríguez Cesen, and Christian Esteve Rothenberg. The tool enables integrated simulations between aerial and ground vehicles with network emulation support, making it useful for mobility and connectivity studies in complex environments.
