From September 21st to 23rd, Ph.D. students Alan Teixeira and Tariqul Islam attended the IEEE ComSoc School Series in Atlanta with the theme of “Next Generation Cloud Communications”. The event was held at the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GRTI) Conference Center in Atlanta, GA.
The IEEE ComSoc School Series Program is designed exclusively for IEEE ComSoc Student Members. The programs for these events consist of lectures by world-leading professors, industry leaders, and executives. Each event features a highly interactive classroom environment with an intense focus on learning the cutting-edge trends in communications technology.[1]
Alan and Tariqul’s participation in this particular ComSoc School edition was an outstanding opportunity for both of them to attend excellent state-of-the-art talk – most of which the presenters shared their Ph.D. studies experiences, business presentations, and to connect with other students and professors from different engineering institutions around the world
