Short Bio
Thiago Navarro (a.k.a. Navarro) is a Computer Engineer, graduated by the Military Institute of Engineering (IME), Brazil, in 2012. He has been part of the Brazilian Army and holds the rank of Captain.
He has been developing technology for the Military field. For 6 years, He was the Brazilian Army Technology Transfer Commission Leader at CPQD Foundation (outsourced), which is a Research and Development Institute in the communication field. This Project is inside of the Brazilian Defense Strategy and which will be used in the military communication field.
He has worked with software development, specifically developing abstraction layers for the Software Defined Radio (SDR) platform. He also has participated in waveform development and SDR modules integration, software configuration management and software architecture.
In 2020, He was selected by Brazilian Army to start full time research in mobile network (4G and 5G) at Information and Networking Technologies Research and Innovation Group, INTRIG, of University of Campinas, UNICAMP. The proposal is to bring BPF and XDP powers to the mobile network data plane.
