Led by Prof. Rothenberg, our mission is blending excellence in research at academia and industry to advance the state-of-the-art in computer networking through impact results. Our group conducts research in several applied areas of networked systems (e.g., SDN, NFV, ICN, data center networking, Internet routing). We work on innovative networking and compute technologies and the open research challenges often in partnership with the industry, and other research groups and open source projects worldwide. We tackle fundamental research problems and aim at achieving impact by producing relevant research results, highly-cited publications, leveraging cutting-edge software and networking technologies, in an open innovation approach based on a public release of research data and artifacts (open source software) allowing for research reproducibility. INTRIG members can be characterized by their creativity, deep thinking, and a strong competitive drive. Interested in joining us?
