Short Bio

From 2S/2018, Levente is a post doctoral research associate at the Information and Networking Technologies Research and Innovation Group (INTRING), Department of Computer Engineering and Industrial Automation (DCA), School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (FEEC), University of Campinas (Unicamp).

Before joining Christian Esteve Rothenberg’s team, Levente has been affiliated to the High Speed Networks Laboratory (HSN Lab), Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), where he has received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree from in 2010 and 2015, respectively. Levente was involved in FP7 Unify project, as well as in several industrial projects carried out between HSN Lab and Ericcson TrafficLab Hungary (ETH). During 2017-2018, he was a research associate at the School of Computing Science, University of Glasgow working on an Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) funded project called Network Measurement as a Service between 2016 and 2017. Recently, his interests have focused on many different aspects of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Function Virtualization (NFV), in particular, the dataplane performances of different software-based network functions, troubleshooting, orchestration and Distributed Denial of Service attacks.
