2021 NFV-SDN: Best Doctoral Symposium Paper

The IEEE Conference on Network Functions Virtualization and Software-Defined Networking (IEEE NFV-SDN) is a premier IEEE event on the latest NFV and SDN concepts and mechanisms. The 7th IEEE NFV-SDN 2021 was carried as a virtual event focused on the foundation, design, verification, operation, security, and evolution of VNFs and the advances in the NFV concept that took place from 9-11 November 2021.

The Doctoral Symposium is a relevant feature of the IEEE NFV-SDN conference series providing an opportunity for Ph.D. students to present their research work (in progress or recently completed). Our Ph.D. candidate, Nathan Saraiva, presented his late-stage Ph.D. work entitled “CLARA: Closed Loop-based Zero-touch Network Management Framework”, for which he received the best doctoral symposium paper award. This award is second received by our laboratory for the second consecutive year.

The paper and video of CLARA are already available at INTRIG publications Web site and Youtube channel.
